256 luxurious executive and one-bedroom suites are richly appointed with that touch of �Old World New Orleans� charm at the Avenue Plaza Hotel. The Queen Studio Suite is furnished with two queen beds. The King Studio Suite is furnished with one king bed. Studio suites feature a full kitchenette, coffee maker, microwave, premium cable TV, Lodgenet, Web TV, pay-per-view movies, telephones with voice mail, AM/FM digital clock radio, hair dryers, irons/ironing boards. Non-smoking floors and ADA suites are available. Daily house keeping is available (fees apply).


	Services/Features

The Avenue Plaza Resort features an outdoor swimming pool, a rooftop sundeck, and exercise equipment. The following fees and deposits are charged by the property at either check-in or check-out. Valet parking: $22.40 per 24-hour period; with in/out privileges

The antebellum Ashley House, built in the 1840s, is located behind the resort. It reportedly served as a boarding house for Confederate prisoners of war. The subject of numerous paranormal investigations, the house is said to be one of the most haunted homes in the nation! In fact, some have even attested to having experienced encounters with said entities. Take comfort though, in the fact that these are Southern ghost�and they welcome you with Southern hospitality. The house is furnished with authentic antiques and period reproductions from the 1800's, features a spiral staircase, crystal chandeliers, and opens out into a lush courtyard with heated pool. Elegant surroundings and picturesque courtyard create the perfect ambiance for any special occasion at the Ashley House.


	Restaurants/Lounges

Mr. John's Ristorante at the Avenue Plaza Hotel � American cuisine with Italian features in a restaurant and lounge with the feel of a private club (wood paneling, mirrored columns). Open for breakfast Monday through Friday, and lunch daily. Dinner is served nightly except Monday.

There is also a nearby deli and grocery for guests who prefer to dine in their spacious suite at the Avenue Plaza Hotel.
