The Royal South Beach Hotel Miami is centrally located in the South Beach Art Deco District, just two blocks from the Atlantic Ocean. This unique, historic South Beach hotel was reborn by fusing 1930's character with the latest in technology and design, creating an experience that will transport guests through time. The Royal was built by a former Zeigfield Follies showgirl and designed by Miami Beach's two most renowned Art Deco architects. Henry Hohauser designed the ground floor in 1936 and the second and third floor hotel addition designed by L. Murray Dixon was completed in 1938.The unique look of the newly restored Royal is the masterful vision of famed designer Jordan Mozer, who is known for his contributions to such innovative projects as the new Cheesecake Factory in Chicago, House of Blues, the Bellagio, Mirage and Venetian Hotels in Las Vegas, and Barney's New York. The one-of-a-kind, modern furnishings Moser created for the Royal are as much functional as they are works of art. The "funkadelic" new Royal South Beach Hotel is a classic example of Art Deco architecture revamped for the 21st Century. The regal Royal was featured in "Cool Hotels" and "The Best Designed Hotels in North & South America.�

The Royal South Beach Hotel is located on Washington Avenue at 8th Street, just two blocks from the sugary white sands of South Beach. Just a few blocks away, on Collins Avenue between Fifth Street and Lincoln Road, you will find shopping that has been compared to Manhattan's Fifth Avenue, including Banana Republic, Guess, Deco Denim, Urban Outfitters, and Kenneth Cole. On Lincoln Road between 16th & 17th Street, you will find art galleries, cafes, boutiques, home design stores, restaurants and a brand new multiplex movie theater (at Alton Road). Each of 42 brightly-colored rooms at the Royal features a �floating' bed with a headboard that doubles as a bar, cited in newspapers and magazines internationally for "Jetson-like" and "funkadelic." The guestrooms at the Royal South Beach Hotel also feature Italian marble floors, all-tile bathrooms, "digital" thrones, individual temperature controls, down bedding, coffee makers, direct dial phones, hair dryers, irons/ironing boards, CD players, digital safes, high-speed Internet access, flat screen TVs with cable and HBO, and kitchenettes with microwaves.

The Royal South Beach Hotel features an on-site Italian restaurant open for lunch and dinner, and a bar and nightclub with entertainment nightly.
