The WinterHaven's restoration focused on the hotel's dramatic double-height lobby, winding staircase, original glass-ball railings and multi-level mezzanine. Decorative details such as the ornate Chinese mirrored panels, and the etched glass recessed wall panels were meticulously restored. Exact replicas were made of the original chandeliers, sconces, and maple and mirror registration desk. A new wood and glass bar curves along one wall. The Art Deco interior is stylish yet understated to allow the architecture to shine. The new furniture combines maple, leather and fabric. The aerodynamic club chairs are clothed in russet leather, with sofas and dining chairs upholstered in deep jewel tones - garnet, aquamarine, emerald and amethyst
