THE RESTAURANT IS CURRENTLY CLOSED FOR RENOVATIONS - Louisiana Heritage Caf & School of Cooking at Bienville House Hotel -- serves an extensive menu of seafood, pastas, soups and salads, in a refined yet relaxed, 搘hite tablecloth setting. Chef Joseph Faroldi's culinary creations are flavorful and diverse, often featuring his own personal twist to traditional Louisiana dishes, like Seafood Beignets with Remoulade Sauce, Blackened Catfish topped with Crawfish Etouff閑 and the famous 揜ajun Cajun Omelets The restaurant is located on the first floor of the Bienville House Hotel, and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Monday thru Sunday 7am-10pm. The Louisiana Heritage Caf's School of Cooking offers entertaining culinary lessons to individuals or groups, and is open to the general public as well as to Bienville House Hotel patrons. Chef Faroldi's demonstrations provide a wonderful insight into Cajun and Creole culture and offer historic tidbits that compliment his creative technique and delicious presentation. Cooking demonstrations are currently held at the Louisiana Heritage Caf, but are well suited to travel for entertaining meetings, parties and similar functions. Cooking classes are Friday and Saturday 10:30 am.
