Hotel Description:

Spacious rooms, attentive service and value are the State Plaza's hallmarks. With a distinguished address that puts guests blocks from the National Mall, the White House and Georgetown, the State Plaza also offers a prime location for both business and leisure travelers.


	Location Benefits

Located in fashionable Foggy Bottom, the hub of the federal and international business district, the State Plaza is close to other big Washington DC sites, including the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and George Washington University's Lisner Auditorium. Guests can also walk to world-class music, dance, theater and opera.


	Accommodations

The State Plaza's 225 apartment-style suites offer plenty of working, relaxing and cooking space. Each non smoking accommodation has retained its mid-century apartment feel and features full kitchenettes and dressing areas with lighted vanities. In-suite amenities include cable TV, pay movies, high-speed Internet access (for a fee), complimentary coffee, and a free weekday Washington Post. The hotel also features the Plaza Suite, which offers a bit more space than the standard suites.


	Services/Features

Guests can access the State Plaza Hotel's business center, which offers complimentary high-speed Internet access for the first half hour of use. Conference rooms and catering service are also available. Other hotel amenities include fitness and laundry facilities, as well as valet and self parking for a fee.


	Restaurants/Lounges

The hotel currently does not have a restaurant open, although the upcoming F Street Bistro should be open shortly.


	Discounted Rates

There are no room charges for children 17 and younger occupying the same room as their parents. Each adult after two is an additional $20 per night. Rollaway beds are available for $20 per night. Cribs are available for $10 per night. Both are subject to availability and should be requested at the time of booking.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellation and/or Changes must be received by The State Plaza Washington D.C. by NOON hotel time at least 48 hours prior to arrival.
