The Howard Johnson Plaza Dezerland Beach & Spa is located directly in Miami Beach on the ocean and next to North Beach Park where you can explore nature while exercising in the ocean breeze. 	Location Benefits

The Howard Johnson Dezerland is located at the northern end of Miami Beach and it is adjacent to the towns of Surfside and BAL Harbor. It is minutes away from South Beach and the Art Deco district. The Miami Beach Convention Center is just two miles away and the Port of Miami, as well as Downtown Miami, is just 15 minutes by car. Miami International Airport is 25 minutes.


	Accommodations

The Howard Johnson Dezerland Resort features 255 spacious, air-conditioned rooms and suites. Each feature either two double beds or a king size bed and is named after a different classic 50s car. In room amenities include: Color cable TV; Alarm clock/radio; Telephones with voice mail; In-room safes; Hair dryer, Iron/ironing board and high speed Internet access (long distance charges apply). The hotel also offers efficiencies equipped with mini kitchenette, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee/tea maker.


	Services/Features

Howard Johnson Dezerland Resort onsite spa - Nirvana Spa is European inspired world-class spa and wellness center featuring over 20 varieties of massage therapy, a beauty salon, chiropractic care and sports-rehabilitation, various types of yoga classes, Pilates training, personal weight training, oxygen relaxation, three European style saunas and steam rooms, as well as an ozonated Jacuzzi. Other services and amenities at the resort are: Outdoor pool with poolside bar and grill with direct beach access, tennis court, gift shop, game room, coin laundry facilities, and high speed Internet access in the lobby at a rate of 25 cents/minute. A complimentary scheduled shuttle service is available to South Beach, the Bal Harbour Shops, and the Aventura Mall.


	Restaurants/Lounges

This Howard Johnson hotel features a 50's style restaurant � American Classic - dine, have lunch or enjoy the buffet breakfast in the back seat of an original 1959 Cadillac or other vintage cars. Guests of the Dezerland Resort can enjoy the hotel cocktail lounge and the poolside bar & grill.
