Hotel Description:

Newly renovated, the art noveau Ameritania Hotel New York owns an ideal location in the heart of Midtown Manhattan's entertainment and business districts. Guests will find themselves just around the corner from Broadway and a few blocks from prime shopping on New York's 5th Avenue. The cosmopolitan lobby of the Ameritania Hotel is set in an atmosphere of off-white walls and terrazzo marble floors and is decorated with an eclectic collection of furniture that combines modern leather pieces with beautiful antiques. First class amenities abound at the Ameritania making each guest's stay as comfortable as possible.


	Location Benefits

Located in the Theatre District on the corner of 54th Street and Broadway, the Ameritania Hotel New York is very popular with the hip, theater-going crowd. But, business travelers and other non-theater lovers will also find the Ameritania central to many of New York's biggest attractions -- some within walking distance. Penn Station is 20 blocks, Central Park is five blocks, New York's Museum of Modern Art is just two blocks from the Ameritania, and Times Square is five blocks away. The Jacob Javitz Convention Center is also 10 minutes by taxi.


	Accommodations

New York's Ameritania Hotel offers 219 rooms. Each is designed with sleek, simple, modern lines and features cable TV with remote control and pay-per-view movies, individual air conditioning controls, marble bathroom, CD player, alarm/radio, two-line telephone with data port, wake up service, electronic room key, and hair dryer. A complimentary Financial Times is offered to guests Monday through Friday. Those who do not have a laptop with wireless service may purchase a card at the front desk that will allow them access to the hotel's wireless service. Nonsmoking rooms are available upon request at the Ameritania.


	Services/Features

The Ameritania Hotel New York offers many guest services and amenities. Included are valet laundry and guest laundry services, parking (fee applies), concierge services, tour desk, and access to a gym located a half a block away (fee applies). Business travelers can access business services at the Ameritania front desk or take advantage of the Kinko's located across the street, which is open 24 hours.


	Restaurants/Lounges

Fine dining can be found with in walking distance of the hotel. The Ameritania Front Desk Staff is available to arrange dining reservations for any hotel guest.


	Discounted Rates

There is a fee of $20.00 for each additional person over 2 in standard rooms. Max occupancy is 4. Rate based upon availability and may not be available during holidays or city wide events. Minimum Check in age is 21 years old. Upon check-in a photo identification and credit card deposit are required for incidentals and miscellaneous charges.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellation or Changes must be received by The Ameritania Hotel by NOON hotel time at least 24 hours prior to arrival or will be subject to a charge equal to the first night room and tax.

All reservations require a valid credit card number and expiration date to hold the reservation. Your card will not be charged unless indicated for that specific hotel in our Preferred Destinations.
