Hotel Description:

The Roosevelt Hotel is a prominent landmark situated on Madison Avenue and 45th Street in Midtown New York City. Named in honor of President Theodore Roosevelt, the Roosevelt opened September 22, 1924 and recently celebrated its 80th anniversary in 2004. Guests can choose from over 1,000 well-appointed guest rooms, including more than 30 luxurious suites -- all featuring modern amenities nestled in carefully designed rooms accented with historic flair.


	Location Benefits

The Roosevelt Hotel New York is located in Midtown Manhattan's fashionable East Side and is within walking distance of Broadway's Theater District, Central Park and shopping on Fifth Avenue. The Roosevelt is also near many of New York's famous museums, as well as Rockefeller Center, Times Square and St. Patrick's Cathedral. Grand Central Station is also just a block away and Jacob Javitz Convention Center is 10 blocks from the hotel.


	Accommodations

Two types of completely renovated rooms are available at the Roosevelt Hotel New York City. Superior rooms feature double or king size beds and cozy queen rooms offer a queen bed with a standup shower. All rooms at the Roosevelt have individual climate controls and are equipped with color TV with cable, in-room movies, dual line telephone with voice mail, data port, high-speed Internet access (fee applies), Sony Play Station, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, and alarm clock/radio. Business travelers will also appreciate the desk with lamp and an ergonomic desk chair. Pease note that we no longer can accommodate rollaway beds in our Cozy Queen or Superior Rooms.


	Services/Features

The Roosevelt Hotel New York City offers its guests complimentary use of the onsite, 24-hour health club, a full service Business Center and concierge services. Wi-Fi Wireless Internet access is also available (fee applies) as is valet parking ($48 per day, no in & out privileges), self-parking, use of a safety deposit box, and 24-hour room service. The Roosevelt's doorman is on duty 24/7 for added security and assistance. The Hotel also features the Roosevelt Grill, which serves up breakfast, lunch and dinner, and the Madison Club Lounge, which serves up world class martinis, as well as lunch and dinner. The Roosevelt Hotel also offers Starbucks Coffee in the mornings, daily, in the Madison Lounge.


	Restaurants/Lounges

Guests may dine in at the Roosevelt Grill, located onsite at the hotel. Breakfast is served from 6:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m., lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and dinner from 5 p.m. until 11 p.m. A children's menu is available at the Roosevelt Grill. Guests may also enjoy a cocktail, lunch or dinner in The Madison Club Lounge. Hours are Monday through Saturday from 11:30 a.m to midnight or Sunday, noon to midnight. Room service is served 24 hours a day at the Roosevelt Hotel New York.
