The area known as Lower Midtown includes the neighborhoods of Gramercy Park, Union Square and Murray Hill, the Flatiron District, Chelsea, Herald Square and the Garment District. On the east side of Midtown is luxurious Fifth Avenue and the more conservative Park Avenue. On the west side of Midtown is Times Square and the Theater District.
